We have been educated to believe that you have to “go to your doctor” for any health advice and that practicing sound health principles is the past time of health nuts and crackpots.” This attitude, no doubt, is to a great part responsible for the fact that the average American is quite ignorant regarding his or her own health and the proper means of maintaining it.
Perhaps it’s time we find a totally different approach to the way we look at health vs. disease…let’s focus on educating wellness versus medicating illness! Let’s spend more dollars on researching the keys to wellness versus the cures for illness!
Health is a priceless possession but sadly most of us are very careless with it until it is in jeopardy or threatened! But it need not happen to you and your family! If you simply view the body as a car, remember a car cannot function optimally without proper preventive maintenance. If you don’t change the oil regularly, it runs sluggish. Your colon or large intestine is one part of your digestive system; one long hollow tube (appx 30 ft) from your mouth to your anus that takes in food, digests and eliminates. Your colon is the last part of this tubing and is made up of muscle tissue that moves toxic materials along & out of the body through wave-like motions known as peristaltic action. From the cecum (beginning of the colon) to the rectum (end) is approximately 5-5 ½ feet long.
The bowel or colon is referred to as the sewer system of the body…the place where we store the waste material & toxic trash. What exactly is Colon Hydrotherapy:
